You will need to have the latest version of Google Photos on your iOS device in order for this to work, so update the app if you haven’t done so already. Google Photos isn’t a native app to your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac, so it doesn’t work quite as sleekly as Photos, you also lose out on Apple’s upcoming Photos update.
